Mark Kiefer

Owner

Mark Kiefer is the founder and owner of Kiefer Built Contracting, bringing over 25 years of hands-on experience to every custom home build, commercial construction project, and home renovation across Northern Colorado. From foundations to interior finishes, Mark has built his reputation on a simple but powerful principle — listen to the client, then deliver beyond their expectations.

Based in Windsor and serving Greeley, Loveland, Fort Collins, and the surrounding Front Range communities, Mark has led projects of every scale, from transformative residential renovations to high-profile commercial builds including Dayspring Christian School, the Weld County Food Bank, and the Hal-Irwin office building. His ability to unite designers, contractors, installers, and homeowners into one seamless team is what sets Kiefer Built apart in the Northern Colorado construction market.

Mark’s approach is personal. He doesn’t just manage projects — he invests in the people behind them, finding creative solutions that make clients’ homes more functional, more beautiful, and more uniquely their own.

When he’s not on a job site, you’ll find Mark out on a mountain trail, deep in a good book, or crossing finish lines — he checked off his first marathon last year. And yes, he’s an airplane crash survivor — which means there’s very little in construction that rattles him.

  • “A few of my favorite projects include Dayspring Christian School, Weld County Food Bank, and the new Hal-Irwin office building.”
  • “I enjoy creating solutions for clients that make their lives more enjoyable.”
  • “A great day is working with a team that includes designers, installers, and the homeowner to execute the plan.”
